Description
Cantina Imperatori’s project is to rediscover native varieties grown in the Roman countryside before the phylloxera crisis and reinterpret them in a modern way. Thus Cesanese, Lazio’s only native red grape variety, which has always been typical of this area but rediscovered qualitatively only in recent years, despite its difficulties and typical roughness has managed to adapt well thanks to loose, well-drained soils that enhance its complexity and elegance.
