From the maceration in contact with the skins of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes and the long period of maturation come the Reserves, long-lived and complex reds.

Vineyard location Western hills of the Peligna Valley at about 400 meters above sea level
Clayey, skeleton-rich soil with high organic matter.
Soil covered with siliceous pebbles coated with a white calcareous crust
Planting density 4000 vines per hectare
Average yield per hectare From 40 to 50 quintals
Fertilization Natural products: manure or green manure
Vinification Spontaneous fermentation in steel barrels with maceration for about 12 days
Maturation about 24 months in steel
Aging about 24 months in Slavonian and French oak barrels
Bottle aging at least 6 months
Important note The wine is neither pasteurized nor filtered, but undergoes only natural decanting through appropriate racking.
